2011 October 29- DART team arrived at Lipscomb University for “BUGS!” 2011- DART did well. They received 2nd Place BEST Award, 2nd Place Robotics Award, BEST Costume/Mascot Award, BEST Exhibit and Team Interviews Award, and Most Robust Robot Award. DART along with Central Magnet and Merrol Hyde will be proceeding on to Regionals at Auburn University on December 2nd and 3rd.
2011 April- DART along with Central Magnet and Merrol Hyde moved on to the National or World Championship for BEST Robotics. The 2010 Season started out with 750 teams and was narrowed down to eight teams representing their local hubs at the National level. Our robot received 2nd Place Most Elegant Design.
2010- DART along with Central Magnet, and Merrol Hyde moved on from Music City’s BEST competition to South’s BEST regional competition at Auburn University in Nov. DART received 3rd Place in the Robotics Competition, 5th place in the BEST Award, 2nd Place for Project Engineering Notebook, 2nd in Most Robust Robot while competing against 60 other teams.
2010 DART received the 2nd place BEST Award, the 4th place Game Award, BEST Costume, BEST Exhibit Booth and Display, and a joint BEST Mentor Award. The mentors were Ms. Patricia H. and Mr. Dave S. (again). Congrats!
2009 at the Music City BEST competition on October 17th, DART received the BEST Homeschool Award. Also, a DART mentor, Dave S., received the BEST Mentor Award.
